Valiant Voyages is excited to
announce the So We Said Yes Podcast

Families, inlcluding our own, have had a spiritual encounter with God where they have felt called to move to Middle TN so suddenly.  This podcast highlights the stories of families stepping out in faith and trusting what God has next for their lives.

About Valiant Voyages

Valiant Voyages was born out of a vision Dusty received from God during a Heart Sync Ministry session as he faught for healing— in the vision, he received a call to help hundreds of men just like him, men who may feel like captains without oars, drifting through life.

It’s about coming alongside fathers right where they are and inviting them into a faith-filled journey marked by bravery and courage. It’s about learning to fight for what’s right for your family, saying “no” to the distractions and addictions that pull you away from your heavenly calling.

For Dusty, that meant drawing a line in the sand and walking away from alcohol and pornography. For you, it may look different — but as the leader of your home, your mission is to build a legacy, a foundation for your family rooted in the principles and teachings of Jesus Christ.

Meet Dusty Jenkins, founder of Valiant Voyages and The So We Said Yes Podcast.

Dusty is what my friends call me and my birthname is Dustin which means:

Valiant Fighter

Brave Warrior

A Fighter

You were created with a calling — but somewhere along the way, it’s easy to forget who you were meant to be.

Life piles on labels, wounds, and limiting beliefs until you barely recognize the man God designed you to become.

Maybe you’ve been through church hurt, maybe your marriage feels fragile, maybe you’re fighting private battles no one sees. You are not alone — and you don’t have to keep carrying it alone.

Valiant Voyages exists to walk with men and families through the storms of life. Whether it’s sunrise prayer, sunset worship with your kids, or a pop-up retreat designed to strengthen your faith and family bonds, you’ll find a place to breathe, reset, and fight for the legacy your family deserves.

Life is better together — and we’re building a community where you can belong, grow, and lead with courage.

Retreats and Live Events in a Substance Free Environment

On September 25, 2022, a spark was lit — and now it’s an open invitation for other men.

Maybe you’ve been carrying the weight of the world, numbing yourself just to make it through the day. Maybe it’s alcohol, porn, overwork, or just the constant distractions that pull you away from what matters most.

Valiant Voyages creates space for men to step away from the noise and discover the better version of themselves. Through pop-up retreats, we gather for real, raw conversations and learn how to fight together — to become the fathers and leaders our families deserve.

Meaningful Memories

Without the haze of substances, every moment, every conversation, every bond formed is remembered and cherished.

Genuine Connections

Substances can sometimes mask our true feelings and emotions. By creating a substance-free environment, we promote genuine connections and deeper conversations.

Safety & Comfort

A substance-free environment ensures safety for all attendees and fosters a more inclusive space, especially for those who may not drink for personal, cultural, or health reasons.

True Reflection & Growth

This is a time of transition and growth for dads looking to better themselves.  It was always "One day when..." for me until I started focusing on my "One day win."

What Should I expect?

Staying the night with a group of guys you've never met can be intimidating.  It is for me as much as it is for you.  Each person that stays the night will have their own private bed.

Should I stay the night?  With limited availability and a little bias, YES!

The sunrise session, morning workshop, and time in nature connecting further through our
topics will be the heart of these micro retreats.

Food & Drinks

A catered meal supporting a local business will be provided.  I will connect with attendees ahead of time for dietary needs and preferences.

NA beer and mocktails has been one tool that helped me in my sobriety journey.  If you find these types of drinks triggering, please let me know.  We will have other soft drinks like soda water, tea, and coffee.

Workshops

We will have plenty of time to dive into topics around fatherhood and workshop together in small breakouts and a  large group as a whole.

My goal during our time together is to simply be real and vulnerable with each other.  No small talk.  Social status doesn't matter at these events.  I'm here to learn about your heart.

Adventure

Before ending our time together, we will immerse ourselves into nature.  Most often this will be in the form of a hike but always open to exploring new ways to connect outside.

Friendship

In a world where thumbs up likes and follower counts truly mean nothing, I aim to foster impactful relationships that last.  Not just aquantances, but my prayer for you is that you meet new friends to do life with regularly.

The Experience

Embark on a journey through the heart of an immersive experience in a short amount of time, where unforgettable moments, personal growth, and meaningful connections await.  Some will stay for the evening, some will stay for the full experience.  All dads are welcome.  Here's a glimpse into a typical time together.

Did we just become best friends?

Avoid asking questions like "What do you do for a living?"  We are gathering like-minded men to cut the small talk and dive into heart-felt conversation quick.

Evening kick-off & social time.

Welcome and opening workshop just before dinner.

Catered dinner and extended conversation from opening workshop.

We will have time to dive into the workshop topic deeper after dinner.  Workshops will be fatherhood focused around topics like better communication at home, limiting beliefs, being the leader you were called to be, loving our kids on purpose, and diving into to all the tough and the good around being a dad.

Evening session will be transitional as dinner guests head home.

Sunrise coffee.  Join me for some quiet time, bring your journal and a bible if you have one.

Breakfast and morning workshop.

Outdoor Aventure to end our time together.

Sharing my Heart

I'm a spontaneous person by nature but the the evenings will be filled with food, conversation, and opportunity to dive well beyond surface level conversations with other dads.

A game that sparks laughter may very well happen, and might be needed.  I'm not crying... you're crying.

My hope is that we put the masks aside and open up.

I'm hoping to share our hearts with each other.  What's working and not working for you in your journey of being a dad?

Generational Fathers.  We may dive into the stories of men who have come before us.

Spiritual growth.  The foundation of my faith is Jesus Christ.  I hope to share what he has done in my life and my heart from church hurt to experiencing a mirracle and the vision behind Valiant Voyages.

We will be posting up coming events often so keep checking back for ways to connect outside of these events and keep your chin up dad.  You are enough.  You are a good father.  You've got this. This trip is not psychotherapy.
